 Making Patu's...

In room 6 with Mr. Leason we're making Patu's. Patu's are like swords, but a wooden Maori version of them. Mr. Leason says they're from Maori culture. We're not allowed to paint or colour them in, because Mr. Leason says it ruins the point. My Patu is almost done. I like my Patu, it's very cool.

T-shirt design

Last week we started to make Kiwiana t-shirts. We made them for the art gallery for the school and parents to look at. We were trying to support local. We watched some ads for company that had Kiwiana. My t-shirt design is Marmite, although I don't even like Marmite. -.-

Music with Fran 2020 term 3

Hi. I am August, today after morning tea we went to the hall to do music with Fran. I, and most people were using the glockenspiel, although Oscar was using these stick things, Nizzar was using the giro 

and Tommy was using a Tambourine. We were learning "We Will Rock You" It was awesome. Fran said that next week we are going to be doing the Violins! I love the Violins. I remember them from last year in Room 10. It will be fun.
